The Eating Brisbane blog has been up and running for just over 3 years so I thought it was time for a small makeover. You will find most of the old posts (we are still in the process of moving everything over) and a few new ones which were collected in the past few weeks. This follows a short writing (not eating) break I took for the past six months.

I have also re-counted all the restaurants, cafes and bars within Inner City Brisbane and have found a whopping 476! When I started this blog and took up the task of eating in each and every food serving venue within Inner City Brisbane, the count was closer to 287. I am pretty sure a part of the discrepancy is due to my counting, however I cannot help note that there are plenty more places to eat or drink in Brisbane.

The quality of food, service and variety of offerings is improving too giving Brisbanites an overall better dining experience whether you are out for fresh tacos, a Korean BBQ, Pork Hock or organic fare. It’s all happening in Brisbane making my challenge even tastier!
