If there were a BSC frequent coffee drinker list I would be on it!
BSC occupy a rather large warehouse on Commercial Road, corner with Kyabra St, where they not only serve some of the best coffee in the area, but roast it too. The brew varies from time to time which keeps things interesting – ah and so does the art on the walls and the occasional lotus (the engine kind) which makes its way into the warehouse.
When it comes to food you will find a well stocked cabinet with sandwiches, wraps, cakes and the like. If you are in for breakfast try the butterscotch muffin – you will not regret it!
Coffee and food aside I love sitting and working on their big tables. Its comfortable, relatively quiet, spacious and the staff are not only efficient but friendly and chatty. Perhaps they should lease their tables out – I have no doubt that they would find plenty who would be keen to work here. During my last stint I counted a good 4 happy laptop users (plus myself!).
