This was the first place in which I ate sushi, a couple of years ago – embarrassing I know but I was never a fish person and certainly not raw. Sushi on the run has many subtle versions of sushi which appeal to those less adventurous amongst us.
I often stop by for lunch and most of the time stick to the same plates. My options generally go from salmon with cream cheese, tuna salad, tempura prawn and perhaps a chicken based roll. There is something about the sushi there that does not prompt me to try out new rolls – something I like doing at other sushi trains. It might be a sign that it is an ok place but not a great one!
It is often quite busy but the train is well kept with plenty of fresh plates being constantly added. I believe prices vary from $3.50 to $5.00 although there are other orders you can place that do not ride on the train so I am not sure about prices there!
We normally share 5 plates between two and that adds up to $21 so all in all value for money for simple sushi
