There are those times in life when you need a BURGER, CHIPS and a COKE. No matter how much you ignore the craving and try and push it out of your head, you know that it will get you eventually and you will have to safisfy it.

That ‘s what happened to me last Friday – so I decided to feed my craving with Grill’d! They are actually a great  burger option for both an eat-in or a take away.

The queue to order food was out the door but flowed quickly and we only took about 5 minutes waiting for the food (during which time you can go and find a seat). The restaurant area itself is diner like, clean and spacious and the staff are generally very friendly.

We got two crispy bacon and cheese burgers along with one serve of regular chips and a chilli mayo dip. The burgers are quite big and I never manage to go through a whole one. The bags of chips are quite big too and the regular is more than enough for two people – although they also have a large.

There are various soft drinks you can purchase and also a few bottled beers – I am actually not really sure whether there is wine.

It really is a good burger alternative to fast food joints especially when you get those Burger cravings. I am just not sure whether Burge Urge further down Brunswick is better or not. I need to work that one out!!

Grill’d are also found in Bulimba and a few other locations in Queensland.
